2022 Kristof Farms Chardonnay
Our debut Chardonnay made quite an entrance—and quickly turned heads. It scored 93 at Wine Spectator, topping a list of what the reviewer called 8 outstanding Oregon Chardonnays. And over at Wine Enthusiast, it was picked as an Editor’s Choice, also scoring 93 points. This is a classic Oregon-style Chardonnay: crisp, balanced, and beautifully textured. Aged 10 months in 500-liter French oak barrels, it layers notes of apricot and ripe peach with a lift of candied ginger and a clean, refreshing finish.
Want to understand why Oregon Chardonnay is having a moment? This bottle explains it—bright, nuanced, and full of poise. With gratitude to our magical winemaker, Adam Campbell at Elk Cove.
Critics agree:
🌸Wine Spectator’s Tim Fish’s described it: “Refined yet dynamic, with lilting flavors of apple and lemon accented by honeysuckle and spices as this glides on the steely finish.”
🍏 The Oregonian’s Michael Alberty praised its “fresh and mildly spicy aromas” and “mouth-watering acidity.”
🍍 Paul Gregutt (Northwest Wine Guide, 92 points) called it “elegant… with apple blossoms, lemon rind, and fresh pineapple.”
🌟 John @ SelectHill said simply: “Out of this world.”
Elegant yet expressive—this Chardonnay is a standout introduction to the future of the Willamette Valley.
