Meet Dancing Orchard, our newest release—a beautifully effervescent, semi-sweet cider that brings a playful new expression to the apples grown in our estate orchard. With its luminous golden hue, generous apple flavors, and delicate sparkle, Dancing Orchard is both inviting and wonderfully complex.
Crafted from a blend of a dozen heirloom cider apple varieties grown on our farm, including Dabinett, Michelin, Yarlington Mill, and Harry Masters Jersey, Dancing Orchard offers layers of ripe apple, warm spice, and subtle floral notes. Hints of cedar and clove add depth, while soft tannins and a touch of sweetness create a rich, rounded texture. Its lively bubbles carry the flavors through to a long, gently sparkling finish.
What makes Dancing Orchard special is the fruit itself. Unlike most commercial ciders, which rely on familiar grocery-store apples, ours is made from traditional British and French cider varieties cultivated specifically for their exceptional cider-making qualities. These apples bring a remarkable depth of flavor, allowing Dancing Orchard to be both deliciously approachable and surprisingly sophisticated.
It’s delightful to enjoy now, but like a fine wine, Dancing Orchard also has the potential to develop additional complexity over the next couple of years in your cellar.
Dancing Orchard is the semi-sweet sibling of our award-winning Orchard Cider. Nick has always preferred dry ciders, so Orchard remains his personal favorite. But for those who enjoy a little more sweetness alongside the complexity of traditional cider apples, Dancing Orchard offers something special.
