2022 Pinot Noir
2022 Kristof Farms Pinot Noir
Our debut Pinot Noir—and still Nick’s favorite. This richly layered wine, made from the finest five acres of our vineyard and aged 10 months in premium French oak, captivated critics from the start.
Dark fruit leads the way—blackberry, plum, a touch of Italian prune—framed by pepper, violets, exotic spice, and a whisper of nutmeg. Silky tannins and a bright, fresh finish give it structure and staying power.
Elegant yet expressive, this Pinot is ready to enjoy now—but will reward patience in the cellar. With thanks to our masterful vintner, Adam Campbell at Elk Cove.
Wine Enthusiast called it a “Dazzling Debut” and awarded it Cellar Selection status (93 points).
Northwest Wine Guide gave it 94 points, calling it “a wine you dive into, swim through, breathe in and explore.”
Wine Spectator’s Tim Fish described it: Handsomely structured and expressive, with deep, youthful flavors of black cherry and raspberry laced with black tea, cardamom and other dusky spices as this builds tension toward fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2032 (93 points).
As The Oregonian’s Michael Alberty put it:
“Aromas of blackberries, Italian prune plums and sweet hyacinth are a perfect introduction to a flavor that reminds me of a marionberry scone fresh out of the oven.”
