Big Wins at the 2025 Northwest Cider Cup

Our beautiful ciders earned two medals at this year’s Northwest Cider Cup, the Pacific Northwest’s most prestigious cider competition, celebrating 12 years of excellence in regional craft cider making.

Our Brut Cider (exclusively available to our Cider Club members) brought home a Gold Medal in the High-Tannin Cider category, and Noir Cider won a Silver Medal for Co-Ferment Ciders, recognizing the unique blend of our orchard-grown apples and Pinot Noir grapes.

These awards are a true honor. With 231 entries from cideries across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and British Columbia, and only 25% of ciders earning a medal, the NW Cider Cup is one of the most competitive and respected judging events in North America.

Organized by the Northwest Cider Association, the competition is evaluated by trained cider experts who consider each cider’s appearance, aroma, flavor, and mouthfeel—awarding only the very best in each category.

We're especially proud to represent Oregon and shine a light on the power of high-quality fruit, slow fermentation, and the thoughtful collaboration behind each bottle. A huge thank you to our cider maker, Christine Walters of Bauman’s Cider, for her talent and stewardship, and to everyone who supports our small but mighty team.

If you haven’t tried Brut or Noir yet, now’s the time to stock up! Our Brut Cider is exclusive to our Cider Club members to join now to snag a bottle and be first to access future limited releases like this.

Cheers from all of us at Kristof Farms!
