Chardonnay. Pinot. Wine Spectator Says 93. We Just Say Thanks.
We’re raising a glass to a huge milestone for Kristof Farms: both our 2022 Estate Grown Chardonnay and 2022 Estate Grown Pinot Noir just received 93-point scores from Wine Spectator, a remarkable moment for our family-run farm.
Kristof 2022 Chardonnay:
Featured at the top of Wine Spectator’s “8 Outstanding Oregon Chardonnays,” this wine was praised for its vibrant apple and lemon notes, accented by honeysuckle and spice. Aged for 10 months in large-format barrels, it offers a light oak influence and a bright, fresh finish.

“Dynamic... apple and lemon flavors accented by honeysuckle and spices.”
Kristof 2022 Pinot Noir:
This expressive and age-worthy Pinot Noir showcases deep fruit and complexity with notes of black cherry, raspberry, cardamom, and black tea.
Our 2022 Pinot Noir
This expressive and age-worthy Pinot showcases deep fruit and savory complexity with notes of black cherry, raspberry, cardamom, and black tea.
“Handsomely structured and expressive… builds tension toward fine-grained tannins.”
With only 400 cases of this Pinot produced, we’re incredibly proud to see it earn such high praise right out of the gate.
A Big Win for Yamhill-Carlton
We’re also thrilled to share this recognition with other producers from the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, which accounted for 3 out of the 8 wines featured in the Chardonnay roundup. It’s a testament to the quality coming out of this incredible region.
Both wines are available online: 2022 Chardonnay and our 2022 Pinot Noir.
Join us on the farm for our Pinot and Perspective wine tasting. Come for the views, stay for the conversation—If you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the cougar, a curious bear on the wildlife cam, or a hawk circling overhead while you sip. For those who like their Pinot Noir with a side of big questions and even bigger views—this is your kind of tasting.
There are a few spots left at our tastings on Saturday, June 28 at 1:00 and 4:30 pm, and we’ve just opened up tastings times on Sunday, June 29 at 1:00 and 2:45 pm. Tastings are $50 per person and that amount will be credited toward a purchase of more than a half-case of wine or cider during your visit. Preference is given to our Wine and Cider Club members. Email us at info@kristoffarms.com to reserve your spot. Or come taste our wines at Carlton Winemaker’s Studio (open for daily tastings).
Whether you're a longtime supporter or tasting with us for the first time, we’re so grateful to share this moment with you.
