Happy Thanksgiving!

We want to thank all of you who have supported Kristof Farms for the past few years. We are grateful you have read our newsletters and tried our ciders, and we hope both have given you a few more moments of joy in your life. Amid all that is terrible in this world, the slivers of pleasure and happiness and sense of community help us through such times.

These autumn-color leaves have hung around for Thanksgiving at Kristof Farms. That’s the Kristof Farms apple orchard, to the left of the tall poplars.

We are also grateful that earlier this month, Michael Alberty of The Oregonian reviewed Kristof Farms Pinot Noir cider and pronounced it a “terrific match” with Thanksgiving turkey. “The Noir leads with butterscotch and apple aromas reminiscent of the best caramel apple ever,” Alberty wrote in a review offering that “Oregon wine and fruit combine to make beautiful music together.”

Then just this weekend, all three of our ciders won awards from SIP Magazine “Best of Northwest” Awards. Our Orchard Cider was Judges’ Pick. Our Noir Cider won Double Gold. And our Reserve Cider won Platinum. We are thrilled the ciders are doing well in competitions!
